“Trilogy in Blue; From the Ashes” is the first book in the trilogy and is a fast moving, action packed, historical based family saga.  It is set in the Pacific Northwest in the early 1900s.  Seattle is in the process of recovering from a devastating fire that destroyed the downtown core.  A young man becoming a police officer in a city struggling for an identity will bring the Mitchell family to crises that will threaten to tear it apart. Marrying the niece of a “tenderloin” madam, Thad Mitchell must deal with a psychotic killer, greed, graft and corruption that will endanger his life as well as the lives of his wife and child.
