LEOFF1.Net is provided to viewers without charge.  The website is supported by donations.  No subscription is required and all pages are open for viewing.

BEWARE OF REQUESTS FOR DONATIONS

LEOFF1.NET does not accept donations for "war chests" or to fund lawsuits or other pension protection efforts.  Some organizations seek donations for those purposes.  Before you give them a dime, ask for their financial information.  Make certain the will provide you with regular reports about how they use your money. Make sure you can have a vote in electing thier board and officers.  If you have a question about the validity of any organization send us a note and we will get back to you with information about that organization.

There may well come a time when we will need to raise a large amount of money, but that will not be done by LEOFF1.Net.  It will be through a legitimate LEOFF 1 organization or organizations.

It costs a lot of money and takes a lot of time to keep this site working and current.  Donations to LEOFF1.Net are used to pay for the software that runs or database driven dynamic site, the server that hosts the site, trips to meetings dealing with LEOFF 1 issue, research, etc.
