WACOPS

The Washington Council of Police & Sheriffs is a professional organization that has protected the rights and the quality of life of sworn law enforcement officers before the Washington State Legislature for more than 35 years.

WACOPS is an organization of police unions.  As such, the bulk of their membership is LEOFF 2 and they have concentrated their efforts towards the enhancement of LEOF 2 benefits. 

WACOPS does have a Retired Officer's Association witin its organization.  Ken Crowder sits on the WACOPS board and is the President of the Retired Officer's Association within WACOPS.  Ken has been successful in keeping the LEOFF 1 issues at the forefront for this organization.
