WSCFF is an organization made of of the various fire fighter unions throughout the state. The exist as a political arm of those unions and are active in efforts to lobby the legislature on behalf of fire fighters and their unions. Since their membership base is composed of unions of active fire fighters they have become a LEOFF 2 organization when it comes to pensions.

They were an original member of the Coalition but withdrew when they found conflicts of interest in the goals of the Coalition when compared to their own. Unfortunately WSCFF took some actions that were seen as anti-LEOFF 1 and even though they have since changed their direction somewhat there remains a certain level of acrimony between them and some other LEOFF 1 organizations.
